Jack Elliott
- The latest in our series of interviews with Scottish footballers who have played outside of the UK. Jack Elliot talks to John Walker about his experience of US college soccer and MLS career.
About Jack Elliott
We talk to London-born Jack about growing up as a Rangers fan with Scottish parents. The defender was part of the Fulham youth set up until being scouted by West Virginia University at just 12.
Jack Elliott’s US college career saw him play for West Virginia Mountaineers and South Florida Surf. He then went on to be a fourth round draft pick for Philadelphia Union in 2017.
We also chat about how, despite what EA Sports says, he defines himself as Scottish. The defender tells us Scotland would be the only nation he’d want to represent.
