Anthony McDonald
The latest in our series of interviews with Scottish footballers who have played outside of the UK. Anthony McDonald talks to John Walker about his move to Spain.
About Anthony McDonald
We talk to Anthony about his youth, being born in Cyprus before moving to Scotland a few months old and his childhood Celtic fandom.
The striker started at Livingston before joining Hearts where he stayed for 8 years. He graduated to the first team in 2017 and also had loan deals with Inverness CT and Dunfermline Athletic. Earlier this year he signed for Spanish Segunda Division B side Cordoba. Injury has prevented him making his debut and we discuss the impact of this on Anthony as well as his reasons for moving abroad.
